Who Is Aditya Roy Kapur?
Aditya Roy Kapur is a popular Bollywood actor and the younger brother of popular film producer Siddharth Roy Kapur and actor Kunaal Roy Kapur. People close to him use to call him ‘Adi’.
Aditya started his career journey in the Bollywood as a VJ (Video Jockey) on Channel V. In 2009, he made his Bollywood debut with a small role in Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Asin starrer musical film London Dreams (2009). He also appeared in Guzaarish (2010) and Action Replayy (2010) as a supporting role.
Although he appeared in London Dreams and Guzaarish, he was noticed after appearing Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai starrer romantic-comedy film Action Replayy (2010). Finally, he made his debut as a lead hero in the Mohit Suri directed musical romantic film ‘Aashiqui 2’ co-starring Shraddha Kapoor in 2013. That was the breakthrough of his career. That film becomes one of the highest grossing films of that year by collecting more than ₹100 crore at the box office.
