Anushka Sharma is an Indian actress, model, and film producer. who work in the Bollywood industry. She is the spouse of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.
She debuted her career with Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s starrer Romantic film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ in 2008. This actress is one of the beautiful and tallest actresses in Bollywood. She is one of the highest paid actresses in Bollywood. Nusheshwar, Nushkie, Nush, and Anu is Anushka’s nickname. Family and other relatives used to call her by Anu and Nusheshwar. Her love of life Virat uses to call her Nushkie.
Early Life
Anushka born on 1 May 1988 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India to a Colonel father Ajay Kumar Sharma and housewives mother Ashima Sharma. The tall actress has an elder brother Karnesh Sharma who is a film producer and earlier served in the Merchant Navy.
Sharma completed her schooling from Indian Army Public Schools, Bengaluru. After that, she attends Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru and completed her Bachelor’s of Arts (BA) in Economics.
Debut & Succes
Anushka walked on the ramp for the first time when she was only 15. She was told to walk just like she walks on the streets and she was very very very nervous. After completing her graduation, Nushkie moved to Mumbai to try her luck on modeling and acting. In 2007, Sharma made her big modeling debut at the Lakme Fashion Weeks designer Wendell Rodrick’s Les Vamps Show and won Spring Summer 2007 Collection best model award. After that Anu has done some campaigns as a model for Silk & Shine, Whisper, Nathella Jewellery.
In 2008, she appeared made her acting debut in Bollywood’s popular director Aditya Chopra‘s romantic drama ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ opposite Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan. This film was a huge hit, it collects almost ₹200 crores from the budget of 50 crores and it was the second-highest grossing Hindi film of that year 2008.
