Bollywood in one of the biggest film industry in the world. There are thousands of celebrities. Some of them we don’t even know. Birth and death is the Awkward fantasy of our life. Every year many celebrities leave us. Every year we publish a Bollywood Celebrity Death List. So here is the Bollywood  Death List 2018.


20Kader Khan

Kader Khan was a well known Indian film actor, screenwriter, comedian, and director. The filmmaker is mostly known for his contribution to Bollywood cinema mainly in the period 1970s to 1999. As an actor, he appeared in over 300 films after his debut film in the 1973 film “Daag”. He was born on 22 October 1937 in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Kader Khan was put on a ventilator for a couple of days after he had some breathing issues and hospitalized for the last 16 to 17 weeks. The veteran actor passed away on December 31 at 6 pm, while he was 81.


19Danish Zehen

Danish Zehen, who was part of reality series MTV Ace Of Space. He is also much popular in TikTok and other media.

The young actor died on 20 December 2018 morning in a tragic car accident. According to reports in the media, 21 years old blogger, actor and performer Danish was returning from a wedding when his car met with an accident near Vashi, Mumbai.


18Geetanjali Khanna

We all know the legendary actor Vinod Khanna who died last year. He and his wife Geetanjali Khanna has two sons Rahul Khanna and Akshaye Khanna.

Geetanjali Khanna died on 15 Dec 2018. According to Bollywood Hungama, After being treated, Akshaye Khanna and Geetanjali returned to their farmhouse where Akshaye took her to the bedroom for her to take some rest. He, then, went out of the farmhouse for some time. When he returned, he found her unconscious. He again called the doctors at the nearby hospital and his brother Rahul Khanna in Mumbai. Upon the doctor’s advise, they rushed her to the hospital at Alibaug where she was pronounced dead.


17Tulsi Ramsay

Tulsi Ramsay was a film director and was one of the famous Seven Ramsay Brothers. Ramsay ruled the horror genre films in the 80s and 90s. Tulsi Ramsay is known for movies like Hotel (1981), Purana Mandir (1984), Tahkhana (1986), Veerana (1988), and Bandh Darwaza (1990) among others.

The director died on 14 December 2018 in a city hospital in Mumbai after complaining of chest pains.


16Mohammed Aziz

Syed Mohammed Aziz-un-Nabi aka Mohammed Aziz was an Indian playback singer in the Bollywood, Bengali, and Odia film industries. He was born on 2 July 1954 in West Bengal, India. Mohammed Aziz has given his voice on over 20,000 songs.

Aziz died on 27 November 2018 at the age of 64. He was brought dead to the hospital at 3.17 pm.


15Ambareesh

Malavalli Huchche Gowda Amarnath, popularly known by his screen name Ambareesh was a Kannada movie icon and former union minister of Karnataka state. Besides Kannada, he has also acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films. In his lifetime he appeared in more than 100 of films.

Ambareesh has been suffering from breathing problems and hospitalized frequently since 2014. In March 2018, he was taken to Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. On 24 November 2018, he was taken to a private hospital in Bangalore after he suffered from a cardiac arrest at his residence. The actor born on 29 May 1952 and passed away in the private hospital on 24 November 2018 at the age of 66.


14Nitin Bali

Nitin Bali was a well known Indian music artist. He made his debut in the Indian music industry with the 1998 album ‘Na Jaana. Nitin was best-known for singing the redux version of such as Neele Neele Ambar Par, Chukar Mere Man Ko, Ek Ajanbee Haseena Se, and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas among others.

The singer died on 9 October 2018 at the age of 47 in a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday morning, after succumbing to serious injuries in a road accident.


13Krishna Raj Kapoor

Legendary late actor Raj Kapoor’s wife and actor Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor’s mother Krishna Raj Kapoor died on October 1, 2018, at the age of 87. Kapoor family is one of the most oldest Bollywood families. Krishan Raj Kapoor passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest. Actors such as Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Anupam Kher, and Soha Ali Khan posted tributes for Krishna Raj Kapoor on social media.


12Kalpana Lajmi

Kalpana Lajmi was an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter. She was the daughter of painter Lalita Lajmi and niece of filmmaker Guru Dutt. Lajmi was born on in 1954. She had directed several Bollywood films.

According to NDTV report, Lajmi passed away on 23 September 2018 at 4:30 am in a Mumbai hospital at the age of 64 years. She was diagnosed with kidney cancer last year. Her last directed film was ‘Chingaari (2006), which featured Sushmita Sen and Mithun Chakraborty.


11Nandamuri Harikrishna

Harikrishna was an Indian film actor, producer, and politician. Nandamuri was born on 2 September 1956 in Andhra Pradesh, India. he is the fourth son of Telugu legendary actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. T. Rama Rao. Harikrishna is the father of Telugu actor N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.

The well-known celebrity died on 29 Aug 2018 morning in a road accident near Hyderabad at the age of 61.


10Sujata Kumar

Veteran actress Sujata Kumar was born in 1964 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She appeared in movies like Raanjhanaa (2013), English Vinglish (2012) etc. Sujata Kumar was suffering from fourth stage metastatic cancer.

She died on August 19, 2018, in Mumbai, India at the age of 54. While talking about her life’s dark side in the TEDx event, she said when she was 20 years old, she suffered child abuse and domestic violence. Sujata appeared in so many Bollywood films and TV serials as a supporting cast. She is well known for her work in veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi starrer 2012’s drama film ‘English Vinglish‘.



9Vijay Chavan

Veteran Marathi and Hindi cinema actor Vijay Chavan was born in 1955. He was best known for his role of Mavshi in the famous Marathi Stage drama “Moruchi Mavshi”.

He died on 24 August 2018 in Fortis Hospital in Mulund, Mumbai at the age of 63 due to prolonged illness. The actor, who has featured in more than 350 films.



8Rita Bhaduri

Rita Bhaduri was an Indian film and television actress who is primarily worked in Hindi serials and cinema. She initially appeared as supporting actress in various Bollywood films and TV serials. The veteran actress appeared more than 70 films and more than 30 TV serials. She was born on 4 November 1955 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. 

Rita passed away died on 17 July 2018 in Mumbai at the age of 62. Bhaduri was being treated at Mumbai’s Sujay Hospital in Vile Parle for a kidney ailment.


7Kavi Kumar Azad

Kavi was an Indian actor who primarily worked as a supporting actor in Bollywood movies and TV serials. The actor was born on May 12, 1972, Sasaram, India. Azad is known for his most noted films: Mela (2000), Baadshah (1999), Jodhaa Akbar (2008), and some more. The actor was known for his portrayal role of Dr. Hansraj Hathi in the popular Indian family comedy serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, which airs on SAB TV.

Kavi has passed away on 9th July 2018 after suffering a massive heart attack at 46. According to NDTV reports, Mr. Azad was unwell and was admitted to Wockhardt Hospital in Mumbai. Asit Kumarr Modi, the producer of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah‘, confirmed the news of the actor’s death.

6Karan Paranjape

Karan found fame through TV show Dill Mill Gaye, where he played the character of Jignesh. Dill Mill Gayye was a 2007 Indian romantic television series that aired on STAR One from 20 August 2007 to 29 October 2010. Celebrities like Karan Singh Grover, Jennifer Winget, Drashti Dhami, Karan Wahi, Barun Sobti was also starring in the series.

TV actor Karan Paranjape passed away on 25 March 2018. He was 26 years old. Karan’s mother found his body at their residence around 11 am on Sunday. Even though the cause of his death is not known yet, a report suggests that he may have suffered a heart attack while he while he was asleep.



5Narendra Jha

Narendra Jha was an Indian actor who primarily worked as a supporting actor in Bollywood movies. The actor was born on 2 September 1962. Jha is known for his most noted films Haider, Raees, Ghayal Once Again, Kaabil, and more. His last film is Salman Khan starring upcoming action film Race 3.

Jha died on 14 March 2018 after suffering a massive heart attack at his Nashik farmhouse.  The actor was was 55 years old.


4Nargis Rabadi (Shammi Aunty)

Nargis was a popular Indian film actress who appeared in over two hundred films. The actress was born in 1929, Mumbai, India. She mainly worked as a supporting actress in Bollywood films. Her famous films as supporting actress included Half Ticket, Samaj Ko Badal Dalo, Coolie No. 1, Gopi Kishan, Hum Saath Saath Hain, and films more.

The actress Passed Away on March 5, 2018. She died in her sleep, from natural causes at the age of 89.


3Sridevi

Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan aka Sridevi Kapoor was an actress and film producer who appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. She was considered as one of the biggest female superstars in Indian cinema. Sridevi ranked among the highest-paid actors in the 1980s and 1990s. The actress was born on 13 August 1963.



On 20 February 2018, Sridevi and her youngest daughter Khushi had flown to Dubai to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah. She decided to spend a couple of days in Dubai after the wedding.

Sridevi found motionless in the hotel bathtub while she was alone in the hotel room on 24 February 2018 at the age of 54. The forensic team found alcohol in her lung.


2Ava Mukherjee

Ava Mukherjee was an Indian film and television actress. Her best-known roles included Devdas (2002), where she played Shah Rukh Khan’s grandmother, and her lead role as the title character in 2009’s Detective Naani.

Ava Mukherjee died in Mumbai, India, on 15 January 2018, at the age of 88.


1Shrivallabh Vyas

Shrivallabh Vyas was an Indian film and television actor. Vyas featured in more than 60 films and television shows. He was known for films such as Sarfarosh (1999), Lagaan (2001), Abhay (2001), Aan: Men at Work (2004), Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero (2005), Sankat City (2009) etc. He played ‘Ishwar Kaka’ role in the Aamir Khan starer film Lagaan (2001).

On 13 October 2008, the actor suffered a brain stroke followed by a paralytic attack while shooting for a film in Gujarat. On January 7, 2018, Vyas died at the age of 60, in Jaipur, Rajasthan due to paralytic issues and prolonged illness.
