Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor is an Indian actor, Dancer, TV host who is well known for is work in the Bollywood film industry. He was born on 25 February 1981 in New Delhi, Delhi. Shahid was born in a star family. His father Pankaj Kapoor and mother Neelima Azeem is a famous actor and dancer in Bollywood industry.

Shahid started his Bollywood career as a background dancer in several movies and appeared in some music videos before he debuted in Bollywood. In Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) and Taal (1999) movie, he worked as a background dancer while he was 16 years old. Then he also worked in several TV commercials including Pepsi, Kit Kat, Close-up.

Shahid made his debut in 2003 with a leading role in a romantic film Ishq Vishk. He earned a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for this film which was his first debut film. This film was a semi-hit, it collects ₹12.2 crore from the budget of ₹5 crore. After that Shahid starred in several movies did not do good at the box office. 2006 was the golden year for Shahid.
