Disha Paatni aka Disha Patani is an Indian and international actress, model, dancer. The actress is one of the youngest actresses in Bollywood film industry. Disha was born on 13 Jun 1992 to a cop (DSP) father Jagdish Singh Patani in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has an elder sister Khushboo Patani (Army captain) and a younger brother Suryansh Patani. Her sister Khushboo inspired him so much as is always best in dance, best in the debate, best in education among two sisters. Disha stated in an interview that, Khushboo used to protect her, guide her and always support her.

She admitted Amity University, Lucknow in B.Tech in CSE and drops out after 2 years to become a model.

Since the young age, she wanted to be an air force pilot but later she changed her mind. When she admitted Amity University, Lucknow in B.Tech in CSE, got her first modeling offer. She accepted the offer and moved to Mumbai to become a model. Disha Patani worked in many modeling assignments and TV commercials before entering Bollywood. She got recognized in the ‘Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk‘ TV commercial.

Disha Patani crowed the 1st runner-up of Ponds Femina Miss India Indore 2013 on 20 Nov 2012. where actress Zoya Afroz has crowned the Pond’s Femina Miss India Indore 2013 and 2nd runners-up Swati Mishra crowed 2nd runners-up.

In 2016, Disha appeared in a music video, ‘Befikra‘ along with Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff which was composed by Meet Bros and produced by T-Series. In the following year, she made her Bollywood debut by playing one of the leading ladies in the sports film ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016)‘. The film becomes one of the biggest hits of that year. It collects ₹216 crore worldwide from the budget of ₹80 crore. Later in 2017, her appearance in Chinese action-adventure comedy film ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ gives her too much fame. This is too early for any newcomer actor to debut in the international film like this one.

Patani then acted in Sajid Nadiadwala produced Ahmed Khan directed thriller-action film ‘Baaghi 2 (2018)‘ along with Tiger Shroff, a sequel to 2016 hit ‘Baaghi‘. That film grossed approximately ₹243 crore worldwide from the budget of ₹60 crore.
