Sonia Kapoor is an Indian TV and film actress. The actress has been a part of shows like Kkusum, Kittie Party, Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Jugni Chali Jalandhar, Yes Boss, and some more. She also appeared in Bollywood movies like Officer(2001), Satta(2003), Fareb(2008), Don Muthu Swami(2008), and Karbonn(2015).
Debut & Succes Story
Kapoor debuted her acting career with a Hindi serial Heena. Heena was a Hindi TV serial that aired on Sony Entertainment Television(Sony TV), also known as SET Asia. The series began to air in 1998 and ran for five seasons, finishing in 2003. In this serial, she was seen playing a girl role Nameera.
Later, she debuted her Bollywood filmy career with a supporting servant role in 2001’s thriller film Officer, where Suniel Shetty and Raveena Tendon played the lead role. Sonia has done several films in Bollywood.
Personal Life
The actress was in a relationship with singer, actor and music composer Himesh Reshammiya for last 12 years. These two start dating in 2006. According to a report, the two were living together for quite a few years now.
On 11 may 2018 the couple finally got married on the terrace of the singer’s apartment. It’s Himesh’s second marriage. He was previously married to Komal in 1995. Last year(2017) court granted their divorce. They have a son Swaym Reshammiya together.
