Student of the Year 2 (2019) is an Indian Bollywood romantic-comedy film directed by Punit Malhotra. This film was produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions banner. It stars Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria, Aditya Seal, Samir Soni, and more. Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria made their debut with this film. Janhvi Kapoor was to make her debut in the film but later Karan Johar decided to launch her in his other production Dhadak (2018).
