Student of the year 2(SOTY 2)

If you are a Bollywood buff, then sure you saw the movie student of the year which was released in 2012. Karan Johar produced the first sequel of Student of the Year in 2012 along with Srk‘s Red Chillies Entertainment and his own production house Dharma productions. Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, and Alia Bhatt were playing the lead character in the film. Karan also directed the film.

Today(Nov 20, 2017) Karan Johar posted on his Instagram and Twitter the first poster of Student of the year 2(SOTY 2) along with Tiger Shroff. He unveiled that this film will be happening in 2018. The leading lady is not decided yet. But rumored is Ananya Pandey(Chunky Pandey’s daughter) and Disha Patni will be cast for the leading roles.

Details About Film And Production.

Punit Malhotra along with Karan Johar will be direct Student of the year 2(SOTY 2). Karan will produce the movie under his own production house Dharma Production. Tiger thank him for giving this role.

Punit Malhotra was worked as an assistant director in several movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), and more. He made his debut as a director with I Hate Luv Storys (2010). Punit also directed Gori Tere Pyaar Mein (2013) and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012).

Tiger Shroff is having a busy schedule last two years. He is doing films one after another. His upcoming film is ‘Baaghi 2’ which is under production. Baaghi 2 will be released on 27 April 2018. After that, he will start shoot for SOTY 2. This movie will be on of the most awaited movie in 2018.
