Tara Sutaria is a young Indian actress, singer, and dancer who currently appears in Bollywood films. Tara has been a professional singer from the age of seven and has performed in many operas and competitions. She started her career as a VJ (video jockey) with Disney Channel India’s show ‘Big Bada Boom’ in 2010. She is well-known for her roles in Disney Channel’s shows such as The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir, Oye Jassie, etc.
The got noticed hugely after the announcement of Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar’s film ‘Student Of The Year 2’ in 2018 as she is making her big screen debut with this film. That film is co-starring Tiger Shroff and another debutante actress and star kid Ananya Panday.
Early Life
Tara was born on 19 November 1995 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to father Himanshu and mother Tina Sutaria. She has a twin sister named Pia Sutaria. Both of them took training in classical ballet, modern dance and Latin American dances at the Royal Academy of Dance, United Kingdom and the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing, United Kingdom.
Tara completed her schooling from Bai Avabai Framji Petit Girls’ High School, Mumbai and went to St. Andrew’s College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Mumbai for graduation.

At the age of seven after watching her mother rehearsing for a French opera, she decided to learn opera and dance. Tara has been a professional singer from the age of nine and has performed in many operas and competitions. At the age of 13, in 2009 she participated in Sony TV’s show ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’ which was judged by Farah Khan and Anu Malik. She got huge appreciation from the judges and audiences for her performance in the show.
